A party game for friends: a 30-second clip plays, and everyone races to name the song, the artist or the year on their phone. The room’s code or QR code is all it takes to join, from any browser, with nothing to install; a TV or a laptop can show the shared screen with the scores and the reveals.

Built as a single TypeScript codebase with Expo and React Native for iPhone, Android, the web, Apple TV and Android TV, talking in real time over Socket.IO to a Node.js server. Songs come from the Apple Music catalogue: the charts of each country and dozens of hand-curated lists, from the decades to Neapolitan classics, each checked for the right recording and year. It adds teams, a “guess the year” mode, players’ own picks, Apple Music playlists, and the evening’s standings across games. It runs on my home Kubernetes cluster, with Valkey keeping rooms alive across restarts.
